Six Week Drawing Workshop
Drawing is something we all did effortlessly, like breathing!
Westerners have spent the majority of their lives in educational institutions and later in corporate cultures most of which emphasize intellectual achievements at the expense of intuitive learning.
These drawing workshops are for those adults who still remember the joy and power of their early childhood and wish to exercise and strengthen their intuition.
The Workshops will consist of 1 1/2 hours of studio drawing and one hour of observation and discussion. During the studio time a variety of materials and subjects will be introduced and we will play!
We will learn to listen to our bodies in situation and find the marks that match what goes on inside,
During the discussion we will closely examine the nature of the drawing process, identifying and supporting each class member’s individual style as it begins to reveal itself.
We learn to identify the marks coming from both the conscious intent and the unconscious intent, allowing them equal air time.
The cost of this 8 week drawing workshop is $300 and includes all materials. There is a morning session from 9-12 on Mondays and an Evening session from 6-9 on Tuesdays .
