Walking in the Woods

Outdoor Weekend Retreat TBA

For years, I have taught drawing workshops in the studio. During these weekend retreats, the studio has vanished and with it, the polarities between art and life, product and process. In the studio's place stand the woods, mountains, and rivers of Vermont.
Participants will have the chance to walk in the woods at sunrise ,sunset, dawn ,dusk, at midday and midnight, in rain and shine. We will watch, listen, and feel as the metaphors, like living dreams, arise. We will discover what stays the same amidst the miraculous everchanging display of nature.
Here in this new studio we will explore our fears of being alone, being lost, being in the dark, and being in the wild. Here in this new studio we will discover the thrills of being alone, being lost, being in the dark, and being in the wild. Guided outdoor exercises, free walks, mapping, and journaling, will help us create a safe place to play and learn the skills we need to join in the dance of the seen and unseen realities.
Arrive Friday anytime betwwen 3and 5pm and leave Sunday at 3pm.  Healthy locally sourced meals will be provided . Lodging is free, please be our guest at Geryunant.  The suggested donation for the weekend is $350.  To register please send  your contact info and  a $100 deposit** to :
